ADMINISTRATION: Optimally the liquid preparation should be dropped directly onto the mucous membrane of the mouth including the lips, ideally in horses and donkeys by pulling out the labial pouch. Where an animal is sensitive to the odor of the alcohol preservative a 10-20 minute period should be allowed for the alcohol to evaporate before the dose is presented to the animal. Occasionally an animal will shake its head in response to receiving the dose.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: To date none found.
FURTHER INFORMATION: Animals with tapeworms should be treated to remove all fleas to prevent immediate reinfestation. Fleas are part of one tapeworm species life cycle. Raw food contaminated with tapeworm cysts should also be considered another source of infestation in recurrent tapeworm infections. Every effort should be made to prevent pets from eating their own feces until this treatment has successfully cleared the infection where tapeworm is present. It is important to keep runs where your pet may be confined, dry and free of any feaces.
